A Parts breakdown is a technical drawing, whereas the angles of all objects in the drawing should match. (NO PERSPECTIVE). This way a technical illustrator can mix and match parts from other drawings, or move items around in the current drawing and the changing perspective won’t be an issue. For a parts breakdown, the added complexity is making an exploded view of the product. Imagine the pieces are floating apart in space. This way the reader can get an overall view of all parts of the product and how it all fits together.
